My Current Beautycounter Favorites
I love being able to make a difference in my friend's and family's lives by helping them find safer products that they can feel good about. You can read about why I chose to become a Beautycounter consultant here. Obviously, health and safety were my biggest reason for using Beautycounter products, but I wouldn't have become a consultant if I didn't actually LOVE the products I was using. So, today I am sharing my current Beautycounter favorites with you.
This post was really hard to write for me because I have SO many favorites. But I worked really hard to narrow this list down to as small as I could possibly make it. I feel like I’m cheating on my other Beautycounter products that I’m obsessed with but didn’t include, but I had to make a cut somewhere. I honestly have never liked this many products from one brand before, so I am excited to share with you!
Skin Care
Countermatch Collection: I have seen a big improvement in my skin since using this collection. I use the adaptive moisturizer and Intense moisture serum. Countermatch is the ultimate solution for hydrated, radiant skin. Powered by Bio-Mimic Technology, like the life-giving properties of plants to match the composition of skin, giving it moisture when it needs it and nothing when it doesn't.
I have really dry skin, so the No. 2 Plumping Mask gives me that extra little boost of hydration that I need in the fall/winter months. I love how soft and supple my face feels afterwards. If you’re like me and are already cleansing and moisturizing, but are looking for a product to kick your skincare up a notch, this or any of the other Spa Collection sets might be a perfect fit. I spot-mask by using the No. 2 Plumping mask for moisture on my cheeks, chin, and forehead and use the No. 3 Balancing mask on my nose to reduce pore-size and blackheads.
No. 1 Brightening Face Oil: This is an Allure Best of Beauty award winner and you will understand the hype when you try it for yourself. This citrus-scented oil smells divine! It absorbs quickly and leaves skin feeling silky and hydrated. It is packed with antioxidant vitamin C to brighten and even skin tone. Perfect for all skin types, especially for those concerned about dull and uneven skin or age/sunspots or melasma. Update: This winter, I have swapped my favorite No. 1 Brightening Face Oil for the No. 2 Plumping Face Oil for an extra boost of hydration.

Cleansing Balm: This has been a life-savor on my skin. I use it as a face cleanser, a mask, make-up remover, a spot treatment, cuticle treatment, on cracked heels, etc... It's amazing! It's pricey, but such a small amount goes a long way so it lasts a really long time. A jar typically lasts me about 5-6 months. It MELTS into skin perfectly with vitamin C to brighten, raspberry and cranberry seed oils to hydrate, and chamomile flower oil to soothe and calm (I use for my rosacea). Bonus? You also get our reusable 100% muslin cloth, softer, and easier on skin than a traditional washcloth. **100% of women showed a significant increase in skin hydration after eight hours.
Rosewater Mist: This is an office staple: Lightly scented with real rose. I set my makeup with this every morning. And always have this in my purse for a quick pick-me-up. Update: After experiencing temps in the teens in January, I have been using the No. 2 Plumping Mist instead of the Rosewater Mist for an extra boost of hydration. I will switch back once Spring arrives.

Bath & Body Products
Citrus Mimosa Body Bar: This bar of soap has lasted me longer than any other grocery store brand. In the Beautycounter classic citrus mimosa scent, gently cleanses and moisturizes with organic shea butter and marula and mongongo oils.
Glow Shimmer Oil: In the summer months, I can't get enough of this. I am really fair-skinned, so the sun and I are not friends. This stuff here is liquid gold, or bronze rather! It's the perfect alternative to self-tanner and gives me a natural sun-kissed glow. But who am I kidding, I totally use this in the winter instead of lotion and it makes my skin dewy and brighter. I also like to use this as a highlighter on my cheek bones and temples instead of bronzer with a hint of shimmer.
All Over Sunscreen Protect Broad Spectrum SPF 30: This lightweight zinc oxide formula works for everyone, from babies to sensitive skin sufferers like myself. It is water resistant and packed with antioxidants like green tea and blood orange extracts. It absorbs nicely into the skin without leaving a greasy feeling. This is many of my friends favorite, too!
Sugar Body Scrub in Lemongrass: Hmm, aren't all scrubs the same? I didn’t anticipate anything too special with this, but I was pleasantly surprised. An incredibly indulgent mix of brown sugar and top-tier oils—primrose, apricot kernel, sunflower—feels and smells amazing, plus it removes dead skin cells gently and effectively. It leaves skin smooth, soft, and full of moisture. I don't need lotion after using this scrub. I can also shave my legs after using it without needing any shaving cream. Love!

Make-Up
Dew Skin Foundation: I’m super picky about foundation (who isn’t?) and prefer a more glowy hydrating tinted moisturizer to a heavy matte foundation. This has light translucent coverage and SPF 20 to protect against harmful UV rays. It smoothes skin and addresses age spots and enhances brightness with the powers of Vitamin C. The shades are pretty forgiving because they are so sheer. You can find the right shade for you here –my shade is #1. When in doubt, try No. 2, which is practically perfect for everyone. It's no wonder this was an Allure Best of Beauty winner!

Touch-Up Concealer Pen: As I have gotten older, the skin under my eye has become thinner and darker, so I now use concealer to hide the dark circles under my eyes. It's great to cover any other imperfections, too. What I really like about this one is that it doesn't slide off your face when it's humid or during a sweat session. It's super long-lasting. The click-pen and brush applicator make it easy to get just the right amount. Formulated with knotgrass extract, it helps reduce the appearance of fine lines so skin looks firmer, brighter, and instantly more even.
Ultimate Nudes Eye Shadow Palette: This palette is everything! I am in LOVE with this palette and the amazing brush it comes with! I wish we sold the special edition brush separately, but I believe we are working on that. The formula of these shadows is sooo creamy and pigmented, you only need a apply the smallest amount so the palette should last you a REALLY long time. The creamy smooth texture comes from naturally-derived cocoa seed butter. I was so excited when Beautycounter released the new shimmer shades. I prefer a little shimmer in my shadows. Not sure how to apply? Beautycounter has taken the guess work out of it by pairing the shades in trios for you (all over lid color, crease color, and liner), but I like to play with different combinations and mix and match these.
Lip Sheers: I LOVE our lip sheers! These are great for even the non-lipstick wearer because they literally feel like chapstick, they are incredibly moisturizing! My go-to shades are Currant, Plum, Twig (Allure Best of Beauty winner!), Terra and Scarlet. Each shade was formulated to look good on all skin tones. You seriously can't go wrong.
Lengthening Mascara: I love our Volumizing Mascara too, but the lengthening is what I reach for every day. It is newly reformulated for easier removal and zero flaking. It leaves your lashes glossy black and your whole face looks instantly more awake. Made with organic oils and shea butter, it conditions and softens your lashes all day, never flaking, clumping or smudging.

Illuminating Trio: These new versions of our awesome cream blushers are great! The Rose Glow blush is a really pretty pink. The Bronze Glow stick makes it so easy for quick out the door application, but it's a little too dark for my pale skin. However, the Pearl Glow highlighter is just perfect! I use this highlighter stick on my temples, above my cheeks, down the bridge of my nose, and in my cupid's bow on my upper lip. Gives you that sun-kissed glow!
These are definitely not all of my favorites, but these are the products I would not be able to live without right now. It’s so nice to finally use products that aren’t harming my skin or my hormones. Peace of mind!
