Fish Tacos & Orange Crushes at The Big Owl

Of all the laid-back casual bars along the Eastern Shore's Kent Narrows, The Big Owl may be my favorite because it reminds me of the times I have spent in the Florida Keys.

The combination of being on the pier out on the water and the Key West island vibe instantly made me feel relaxed.

They are known for their sunsets, grilled fish tacos and cold drinks.

The fish tacos are delish!

But fortunately we decided to also order the coconut shrimp on our first visit and wow! My husband and I both agree that they were hands down the best coconut shrimp we've ever had! Order them - you will thank me!

Nearby beach town Ocean City is home to the summer cocktail known as the Orange Crush - a deliciously cold and refreshing summer drink. The Big Owl tiki bar not only offers the famous Orange Crush, but they have an entire Crush cocktail menu! YUM!

Although always lively, especially when there is live music going, The Big Owl is rarely too packed to find a seat.

The views are pretty great, too!

This tucked away little oasis on the water surprised me! I think you will love it, too!
